Cut Flower into the new Life Cycle

Cut Flower into the new Life Cycle

Appreciate the cut flower and its new life cycle... :)

Some people say that they don't like flower arrangements because you cut the flowers and they die. I have a different view about it. We cut flowers and decorate them where we can see and enjoy. The flowers love our attention. It may be a short period of time while they open beautiful flowers. They provide us precious moment. I appreciate their beauty and strength. Flowers and plants also give us opportunities to feel LOVE and PEACE.

As you might notice, each flower is unique. Some last longer, some don't. In order to keep the flowers nice, remove old/tired flowers from the vase. Some of the flowers and greens stay alive and grow roots after for a while. Then you know that the flowers go into their new life cycle. :)

Once roots grow long enough and the plant is ready to move on to the next stage, you can plant it in soil. It is important to know that there are differences in roots if they grow in water or soil. Plants are adoptable. They grow roots in water if you are keeping them in water however different type of roots needed in soil therefore we have to give them enough time to adjust the new environment and grow new roots. Once the flower used to the environment and start growing new sprouts, new leafs, you know that it is happy again with the new life. It is so special.
